I'm not sure what is causing this, but it started at least a few months ago. I will be using firefox, and anywhere between a few minutes, or a few days, it will suddenly stop loading anything and I will have to completely quit it and restart it to get anything working again. No, it is not the HTTP3 problem; that was the first thing I tried. I've also uninstalled, and reinstalled the entire program, clearing all settings, etc. I am on windows. Generally good on firefox updates, will check and update usually every week or two.

Funny thing is, I also installed firefox nightly and that does not have this problem (although I have not used it as extensively as I normally do when browsing, so maybe I didn't hit whatever triggers this issue). It also works properly on other computers (as far as I'm aware). So I still think something is corrupt or wrong with my normal firefox program. I just don't know what or how.

Discord hyperlinks will no longer open when Firefox Developer Edition is selected as my default browser. They open fine in both Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome when selected as Windows 11's default browser. When selecting my default browser it would show 2 instances of Firefox Dev but after uninstalling then reinstalling it there is only one instance in the default app list. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Maybe this is an issue with the latest version of Dev Edition or is this an issue with my Windows?

The issue is as follows: unless I use 'alerts.useSystemBackend = true' (which I don't want to do), I'm not getting any push notifications.

What I've tried: troubleshooting mode, reinstalling firefox, using a completely fresh&clean installation, and even reinstalling windows. Even after reinstalling windows and immediately installing firefox, the problem persists. However, it doesn't happen on another machine I've tested on, everything works perfectly there.

What could possibly be the problem? Please help!

Since the most current Firefox update in June 2022, when in Yahoo Mail and downloading an attachment, as the download complete, the Yahoo Mail tab is automatically closing, requiring I to go to 'History', then 'Recently Closed' tabs to re-open it. This happens Every.Single.Time I download photos and scanned docs from email. Again, this has never happened before - only with the recent Firefox update. I have 2021 a MacBook Pro.

Firefox crashes when switching between tabs. Worse than usual crash, the last page i was viewing is there but unresponsive to mouse or keyboard including contr-alt-delete. Must push and hold the power button on my Dell XPS8940. Windows 10 Home 21H2 OS Build 19044.1586. Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0.

There was a window with 7 tabs, 1 playing a youtube video and 5 with videos not playing, one other site with no audio and another window with a website streaming only audio. When the system stopped, the speakers made an odd sort of buzz sound until powered off. I am on the latest version FF 99.0.1 but a similar crash happened on version 98.0.1. Before that this Dell never locked/crashed up this way.

This Dell PC has Realtek audio just like our HP W10 laptop and they both had issues when new with all sound not working when playing a youtube video only in Firefox (HP Feb 2021 and Dell Oct 2021). Launching Groove Music and playing an mp3 always got the sound working. Problem did not cause any program to crash. Windows updates to drives eventually fixed the problem but it only even happened in Firefox. Current problem is new in the last month or two and only on Dell.

Following that last update to Firefox, the Facebook game Criminal Case stopped working properly. When certain things are done in the game the screen in the game is shrunk and doesn't occupy all the space it should do. When this happens, none of the buttons on that screen in the game work. In the attached image, the in-game screen should occupy all the black area that surrounds it.

Other players of the game have reported similar problems when using Firefox. I am currently playing the game successfully in Opera GX browser.

This fonts.googleapis.com script freezes Firefox and it doesn't matter how long I wait it doesn't run again unless I restart my laptop. How can I fix it or block it? Thanks.

My outlook is suddenly not working properly on Firefox. It keeps lagging and freezing. I tried refreshing Firefox and clearing cache but with no use. Can anyone advise please?

Firefox browser has trouble connecting with Yahoo Finance website. It's intermittent, sometimes won't connect at all. In the those cases, I copy and past the URL into my Microsoft Edge address bar and the Yahoo site pops up immediately. What can I do to consistently access Yahoo sites on my Firefox browser?

Firefox seems to slow down and then stops responding. I have looked at it and it seems to load up to 25 instances, even when only 4 tabs are open. When it fails the only option is to stop it operating and start over. This problem seems to getting worse with newer updates.

When I open a pdf document from a website online, all colours turn violet. The original colour is just shown on the miniature view on the left side. Every time I open the browser again, there different pages shown with the original colour, but when I click on them they stay violet. When I download the document, it has the correct colour.

I have tried to change the colour setting for designs with high contrast, but there is no difference.

As I start my browsers in Windows I am unable to open any website for like 1 min even if you type some address it keeps loading and after 2-3 min it loads website. This is happening with start homepage as well.
