With a recent update of Firefox Developer Edition to version 117.0b9 i keep getting extremely annoying popups on all sites, asking me if I want to translate stuff.

I don't want to store unnecessary settings in my browser, related to exceptions to websites/languages that I want vs. does not want to translate.

I want to completely disable translations, globally. Forever. Two questions:

- Why there is no "disable translations globally" checkbox in the newly added popup? - Is there an about:config hack to do disable translations globally, for all languages, for all websites, and forever?

My Firefox has got inconsistently large font size in some UI, namely on the homepage (text elements with style "font: caption") and texts in the Update Firefox notice box (which I don't know how to reproduce within a resonable time and effort). It just happened after a ordinary restart of Firefox: no updates etc. I tried updating Firefox after that but to no avail. How can I fix it?

Firefox seems to crash repeatedly and generates no crash reports, just freezes up my pc. It works in troubleshooting mode but even after refreshing, the problem persists. Surprisingly, it will consistently crash if I go to `about:support` (except in troubleshooting mode). Any help would be appreciated!

The "font family" property does not change the font of the "option" tag if the font is not installed locally on the computer. I am using Firefox Developer 118 (0b9). Are there any solutions to the problem?

EDIT: I've solved it by installing Kaspersky's extension. I have been troubled by an issue that every time I perform a search on some websites, the page will first freeze for ~10s, during which I can't click on anything on the page. However firefox itself is not totally freezed, like I can switch tabs without any issues, but if I click on the icons of extensions (such as my adblocker) it won't give me any response. After the freeze the page started to load normally. I have tried disabling all extensions, reinstalling firefox, updating to beta, and disabling security.tls.enable_0rtt_data, but none of these works. Other browsers on my device work normally, including Edge and Chrome. Websites that freeze during a search: Google, Bing, Musescore, Duckduckgo Websites that DO NOT freeze during a search: Github, Youtube, Twitter I have encountered this issue both on 117.0.1 and 118.0.

Took me a long time to nail this issue down. Recently (past 1-2 years?), Firefox has started suggesting the base website when you have bookmarks that include the base domain - and it's really bothersome from a UX perspective. E.g. if i have "adobe.com/express" or any other adobe bookmarks, the FIRST autocompleted url Firefox gives me is "adobe.com" which I DO NOT have as a bookmark. In my Firefox settings I also have Shortcuts and other search suggestions disabled.

Why is Firefox doing this?

On some sites like youtube, crunchryroll, and other sites usually where it's main purpose is to play videos my sound plays fine. However, on other sites like osu's website, chess.com, duolingo, and others, there's no sound at all. I've tried refreshing, restarting, running in safe mode, and even reinstalling the browser but none of it has worked. My tabs are also not muted. Does anyone know how to fix this?

A setting I would like to change in both Firefox Beta and Thunderbird Beta is "grayed out" and has a lock next to it preventing change. What configuration file(s) do I look for to find where they have been locked, so I can unlock them and change the setting? Thank you.

I am developing a website (using AstroJS, but i don't think that's the problem) and since yesterday I am experiencing issues when opening devtools. Once I open devtools the whole FF tab becomes unresponsive, I cannot even refresh the page until they are done loading. I can change devtool tabs from 'inspector' to 'console' to 'network' etc but especially 'network' and 'debug' tabs are blank.

I run a 'performance' capture and got these results. In the test I have only opened the devtools and switched to the inspector tab which is unresponsive. The CPU usage is at around 90% however, I don't really know how to read the finding and understand what the problem is.

So anyone that can help me understand what is going on here?

I recently made a post that was resolved where enabling "Remember search and form history" would hang my browser.

In regards to this option, I really want to keep the "remember search" function but disable the "form history" option.

I'm aware that in about:config, the option browser.formfill.enable removed the form but is there a separate option to enable remember search?

I've just installed Firefox Developer. I cannot get Mozilla VPN added to it. Can you help? Do I have to remove Mozilla VPN from the old Firefox installation before it will work?

Also, can I run both Firefox and Firefox Developer at the same time? I'm concerned that Profile entries an other variables might be corrupted.

Last, are there any articles or videos available to help users learn how to use FxDeveloper?

Why when I drag & drop files to Outlook only URL is pasted instead of file? Is it possible to change this behavior? In Opera browser it works fine. Example in attachment.

Latest version install (116) causing functionality issues in Google apps, and other Windows 10 apps. Tried to install an earlier version and that did not work. Tried the Beta version (Current 117) and no changes.

So I'm running firefox developer edition, and with the same extensions on normal plain firefox, the search results kinda lag behind. If i type fast enough/normal speed, the words underneath the actual typing bar will lag behind. if i type slowly it doesnt do this...

I am using Firefox developer edition I noticed it has updated itself to latest version  : 117.0b1(64-bit)

I always have Firefox updates so version before that was the 116.b08

After the update on startup I get the error message attached I close it and then Firefox runs normally but this happens on every time I run Firefox.

If I search for something in the address bar, Firefox will endlessly load. I need to click the address bar and hit enter to search again which will instantly load what I'm looking for. Same thing happens if I highlight a text and click search with google. URLs seem to work fine.
