My firefox collapsed a couple of times (I don't blame it my browsing contained around 40 tabs XD). However, when I restarted the browser all of my addons went missing also I cannot add any new addons tried the ones recommended by the browser. I also tried to update the browser and all the troubleshooting options I could find. The issue is not detected by any troubleshooting I tried. So please help me restore somehow my addons or at least make me able to install addons at all. Thanks

it has been crashing on a regular basis for sometime,(once, twice, three times a week ) no symptom, no indication, never have more than 2 windows going, wtf I'm going to chrome or wherever, if I do not get support

After installing Update 123.0.1, History and Bookmarks no longer show up in the search bar even though they're still checked in my Search settings. What could be causing this? Thanks!

i use firefox on ubuntu and a dropdown terminal app called tilda. i configured the F1 key in the system to bring down the tilda terminal. it works in every other application, just when firefox is in front, the F1 key does nothing. it wasn't the case before, now it is.

Today I had a power outage. When I started the computer afterwards I noticed that session recovery in firefox did not work. Even worse: History and even bookmarks seem to not have not been written for 9 days. I added bookmarks in the last days that are lost now. The reason is likely that the partition which the firefox profile resides on ran out of disk space at some point. I freeded space on that volume and firefox behaved regulary, so I expected everything would be fine. Now it seems like I lost about 10 days (open tabs, history AND bookmarks) how can it possibly be that there was no warning about issues with writing to disk in Firefox?

I have a problem only on one website (Ancestry.com). One of the pages there isn't loading. This has only happened since updating Firefox which I did yesterday or Friday. I have contacted Ancestry and the problem isn't their end. I was told they have had numerous customers who use Firefox experiencing the same problem. Their advice was to contact Firefox but there doesn't seem to be a way to speak to anyone, or to reinstall Firefox. I am nervous of deleting and reinstalling because I am not at all computer savvy and I'm worried about losing all my bookmarks and passwords. I would really appreciate someone taking me through this in baby steps and plain English. Imagine you are helping your 90 yr old granny who doesn't know the tech terms!

I run several versions of Firefox concurrently and recent added 102.3.0 ESR with no issues.

Backed Up bookmarks from a previous stable version to a .json file and imported to v102.3.0#

All the favicons were missing, replaced with a globe.

Visited a dozen sites to see if reloaded them but only 1 loaded icon. These are my own https sites with similar coding an NO code to hide icons - included google. No change.

Read all the posts I could. Verified databases, checked about:config BUT nothing changed, all bookmarks just show the globe icon. Even re-installed that version of Firefox, but same result. Started Firefox with an older profile from earlier version, for a rebuild. Same again.

Is this a bad feature of 102.3.0, an error or something else? Run 78.15ESR with same bookmarks and all are correct.

Any clues above all those published which do not work

Comment section Wall Street Journal stopped working right in the middle of actively using it. Edge works fine.

This was after an update last week to arch, I installed all the bits that seemed to be missing and now it crashes without giving me much info at all.

Ads and other annoyances that distract me from being able to browse the web in peace are a pet peeve of mine. Take for instance this example amazon prime promotion that loads in its own web page that cannot be blocked by normal means. I do not wish to use amazon prime and don't want to be asked every time I checkout in order to complete a purchase. To make matters worse, the options are deceptively colored much like how bloatware developers word their installation wizards. I want to be able to bypass this page entirely and get redirected to the "no thanks" option every time this page loads. Is this something that can be done so I can shop online without being nagged for unwanted services?

Hello, I tried to sign in to my firefox account on a new computer and it appears the rules for password format have changed such that my existing password is too short to be used. How should I proceed to either sign in or reset my password without affecting my existing firefox browsers and lockwise app? Thank you.

browser bar is striped pink and gray... I have tried EVERYTHING!!!!! It is too hard to read. I have done all the about:config, I have reinstalled multiple times- always come back. I am at my wits end.
