Every time I launch Firefox it creates 12-13 instances of Firefox along with one each for Chrome and Console.

I don't need that many instances. Typically I have no more than 3-4 tabs open.

Is there a Configuration setting that I can change to reduce the number of instances to 5 and greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to launch.

I am running Windows 10 Pro V21H2 at current update level. I have a custom made tower with 512GB SSD and a Core2 Duo processing running at 2.93 GHz with 8 GB Ram. Firefox is V17.0.1.

A certain website (flixbus.com) is getting pinned on my firefox automatically. I have unpinned it several times but after few seconds, it gets pinned again. It's driving me nuts. I even cleared all my cookies but it didn't help.

cannot install fire fox I have used it for years as my main browser can you please help me get it back? This is a brand new computer. I should not be having any issues with Firefox

There is a pop up login box - user name and password - then log in. This has always worked until the 'upgrade' to v103.0.2 but now it just sits there. This is obviously something introduced in the new version so any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Browser want log to CBP.gov side after login and entering my password get refuse. Google Chrome dose this with no problem . But I dont want to change to Chrome I like Firefox but for now I am for to do so. Please help... Thanks Mark

Firefox stopped opening links in web pages like secondlife:///app/region/Kings%20Stone/224/155/22 ,WHere do I tell Firefox what application to use to handle that kind of a link?

When I visit Hulu.com some strange emails appear along with legitamite emails, but ones I have never used on the Hulu site. Is there a way to remove them?

Why why why why is FF forcing download of pdf files? It is a horrible problem for me.

Especially because I am a university prof and, in the classroom, constantly display (my own!) files from the course management system on the classroom devices. I DO NOT WANT MY FILES SAVED ONTO THE (PUBLIC) CLASSROOM DEVICE. Never mind multiple copies as it will download EACH AND EVERY TIME I open it.

I have been looking everywhere for a solution or a way to disable this feature, there seems to be no such option but I am seeing a lot of posts from people who object to this as much as I do.

After many many years of loyally using FF and a paid subscriber to some Mozilla services, I am afraid I am going to have to give up using FF is this isn't fixed NOW.

for some reason firefox decided it is fun to mess around with my browser and decided to prevent me from making saved logins,this is so frustrating why does firefox like to do this.

Somehow I seem to have lost everything from my Yahoo pages. Sent, Archive, Deleted are all empty. There should be a mass of stuff in there. I was looking through Settings and may have accidentally clicked on something I shouldn't have. I was not intending to change anything. I guess I can't recover anything but I want to get it back as it was so whatever happens from now is saved in the right place.

What do I need to do to achieve this? You just can't guess the mass of stuff that has disappeared. A lot of it irreplaceable. Thanks in advance. Mike

Hi! For some reason accounts.firefox.com is not displaying in english on my desktop, but in Norwegian, and specifically nynorsk to make things even weirder. On another PC it's displaying in english as I want it to be. My Firefox is set to english (although apparently has Norwegian (bokmål) installed which I can't remove cause the remove button is grayed out...), and my preferred languages for displaying pages are set to english only.

Hello So to make long story short, since last 3 updates to Firefox i cant log in to my online bak account ,and yeah i can log to it on Chrome, windows shit show browser... so well .. can You fix it ? Or shall i just switch browser ? As everything have been working fine before, and i have been happy using You www browser till now...acctualy till i install Firefox update :P

Please save me advices like : - did you try reset you PC ? - did you delete you cookies ? - did you reinstall you windows 7/10/11 - did you clean you keyboard - what's it's you PC hardware condition ? - did You take shower today ? - did you check what's You gender ? - did you reinstall Firefox ?

I've been using firefox desktop pretty much since its inception. Despite numerous updates, for well over a year it has been auto scrolling when on facebook and I have tried every fix it to no avail (I'm highly computer literate and to me, this is now nuts). Note. My android mobile has never done it. I am at the end of my tether and am now looking at moving to another browser due to the frustration. I've gone through all the forums and note there are hundreds (if not thousands) of people with the same problem. Why can you not fix this and is there a fix? So, I've noticed that if I open a new tab while in full screen (ex: watching a youtube video in full screen) it doesn't automatically select the search bar for me to type in. I know this is a very minor problem, but it really bugs me. Can this be changed from preferences or any other way? Thanks in Advance

Edit: I copied this issue from someone who already raised because this exact thing annoys me too even if it's small one. Is there any solution to this problem?

Space bar does not function on Huffpost comment section. Sometimes the whole page just jumps either to the top of the page or to the bottom, Weird. Another point, why does Firefox prompt a new update almost every second day. My PC is safe from Malware and my Firewall and paid for VPN is one of the 3 best available. So please don't tell me there could be another reason for this problem about the Space bar button. The Space bar functions perfectly on Windows 10 Edge as well. Even tried it temporarily on Vivaldi. Works fine there too. I moved over to Brave Browser and I have no problem there at all. Functions perfectly. Until Firefox fixes that problem, I have no need to use the Firefox Browser with it's constant annoying updates.

Does anyone else have this problem and how did you correct it? I did try the Chrome browser and it did not act in a similar way. My Windows 10 is up to date. Thanks.
