This extension, even if it is Firefox's extension, I do not want. It is hindering my ability to get my schoolwork done your browser that I like to use. I really do not want to have to make the complete switch to Edge. I should not have to add this extension that I do not want.

I have used Firefox since its inception. Within the past 6 months, certain websites that used to work properly simply will not load anymore. For example: https://enlighten.enphaseenergy.com/web/3419721/today/graph/hours?v=3.4.0 . I have tried refreshing, removing and restoring, creating a new, blank profile from scratch, starting in safe mode, and other browsers. In this particular instance, Chrome, Edge, and even my old Internet Explorer work just fine, with no alterations or modifications, as well as with my current extensions (Roboform). So does an old version of Firefox (76.0.1). However, current versions of Firefox simply show "Connecting to Gateway", and then time out. I have even set Firefox to refresh the page on EACH access, to no avail...

The ONLY thing that works with the new versions of Firefox is to delete the Cache, and on the next load of Firefox, these and other sites will work. However, returning to the site a second time results in the same error. This makes no sense to me, since forcing Firefox to reload the page on entry, in my mind, should be the same as clearing the cache for the offending page. I have no idea whether the problem is with the website coding, or with the Firefox coding. In this particular case, the Enlighten website states that recent versions of Firefox ARE supported, along with Edge and Chrome. But the fact is, only Edge and Chrome work flawlessly with no issues.

I am open to any and all suggestions, because I have been working with the same errors across several websites, and Firefox is the only browser that has problems with the site.

Why i am suddenly getting Google log-in requests when I first open some websites in my Firefox browser on Mac OS Monterey? This was not happening before; it has started in the past couple of weeks and is extremely annoying. I do everything possible to stop providing Google with any information about me. One of the ways I thought I was doing that was by using the Firefox browser. But apparently not, since Google is able to infiltrate the browser and ask for a sign-in. It is not possible that Google is doing this without Firefox/Mozilla awareness of it.

In the case of a locked phone with no screen, the phone can still be powered off and reset, so any person can open the lock screen by powering off the phone and resetting it.

I have received an email from FireFox my account has been breached. Recommends I change my password. if I change it, will it eliminate ALL of my saved passwords for other sites? That would be a huge problem since I have so many, and a lot are for medical offices. How would I change my password? For the last month the amount of letters/numbers/symbols in my address bar has slowly become less. It only happens when I have more than 1 tab &/or window open. It is now at the point where I'll have no more than a dozen characters in the address bar down to absolutely nothing being displayed there. I had HP do a wipe of my HDD & reinstall of the entire MS OS a month ago. I noticed the issue a few days after that but it was also after the first of 2 FF updates. Sometimes it has bugs but usually the next update fixes it completely; but not this time. I'm not sure if it Is a FF issue. I have checked all thru here and even scrubbed thru MS Win10 support pages and found nothing anywhere similar. Attached is a current screenshot. As you can see, there are only 4 characters in this header while 2 others have None and one has 11 +, 4 numbers and 6 random letters. This has me totally baffled.

Why do I keep getting errors like www.ancestry.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR and other sites that I regularly access.

In the past few week I have started having problem playing certain YouTube videos (I see no real pattern except certain channels seem to be more likely to fail than others) in a normal browser window, the video will stop at the spinning circle. It works if I try in an incognito window (with all the same extensions active) or another browser. I have noticed the problem on a Linux Mint laptop as well as on a macbook. On the Linux laptop I tried replacing the built in Firefox with the one from the the Mozilla homepage with no improvement. If I clear history in Firefox it seems to work once or twice and then the problem reappears. I also tried disabling hardware acceleration but no dice. There does not seem to be any difference whether I am logged in to my YouTube account or not. I have even tried reinstalling the computer but the problem does not disappear.

Please read the image. does it look like I am using the console window correctly? I am trying to interactively code. So, started with a very basic basic code. When I run it, i get an error. There must must be something wrong.

Firefox has just started crashing on startup every time I try to open it out of the blue with no changes to anything in the browser. I've tried opening in troubleshooting mode, still crashes instantly. I've refreshed, revo uninstalled and cleaned everything firefox related off my system and reinstalled but still have the exact same issue with a fresh install.

I managed to get the crash log from the backed up folders when it reinstalled. Any suggestions?

Just before protection against ads expired, the icon's "X" went black. Now that I've renewed, it has not changed the "X" on the shield to white indicating renewal.

Lately I'm getting a pop-up on my laptop and iphone offering to log in via my Google account. I don't have a Google account, and all the help articles I find just tell people how to disable that. I have cookies set to Strict, I've cleared the cache, made sure things are updated, and I still get this annoying pop-up. I've got various add-ons installed. AdGuard, ClearURLS, Cookie Autodelete, Decentraleyes, UBlock Origin, Disable HTML5, Facebook Container, Flash Control, and HTTPS Everywhere. I'm open to suggestions on where to go from here. Frustrating for this to just start suddenly, and having to find a way to disable it.

Every time i open it shows an error and says that the error is from YOUTUBE and FIREFOX or I can do nothing about it. But the funny part is its working on other browsers like chrome.

Hi, I have used multi account containers for quite some time and they've worked great but yesterday when I clicked into them all my created containers had disappeared and it reverted back to the 4 default ones.

I re-created one of them but after logging on today that has disappeared and it's back to the 4 default.

Will there be any way to get my created ones back? Why did they reset again? Is there a way to stop this happening or at least back them up?

I installed the new Windows 11 update now when I exit out of firefox "X" the next time I go to open and error tells me that firefox is running (it's not showing open and running) and I have to close.
