I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? I've been using Firefox since forever but over the last couple of months, the auto translate subtitles (to English) hasn't been working when watching Youtube videos. There's a thread on the Youtube support site with nearly 40,000 posts of people with the same issue and tonight I was trying to watch a video where the hosts talk in Italian, so I use auto translate to English subtitles but no subtitles appear. It will show Italian language subtitles.

I've gone back through this Youtube channel's history trying videos I've previously watched from months/years ago when auto translate used to work but even they're not working now.

I decided to try the video in Edge browser and to my surprise the auto translate to English worked there. They also work in Chrome.

So what could be causing this issue on Firefox, which started about August time?

This is quite bizarre as I assumed all the processing/translation was done by Google/Youtube so in what way can Firefox be part of this issue?

To be clear, subtitles in the (foreign) language the people are speaking, works. Subtitles translated from that language to English (or other languages) has stopped working. Subtitles translated from that language to English IS working on Edge and Chrome browser.

When i try to insert a screenshot through the clipboard on google or yandex image search, the original image is corrupted. Even i try to upload an image via classic upload-button the same problem reproduise. On other sites there is no similar problem, as well as trying to insert the same image but inside the application windows.

However, I am unable to locate the certificate export button in the certificate view or anywhere else in the browser. I have tried several methods without success.

Since the penultimate and now the last current update to version 127.0.2 (64Bit), the button (tile with the + sign) to add new shortcuts is no longer available. How can new shortcuts be added now?

For the last couple of weeks, whenever I access the finance.yahoo.com/ website, my computer slows to a crawl. I run Activity Monitor to show me FF memory usage has surged to 6.5 GB! I cannot just 'quit' FF, have to force quit to regain the memory. No problems with any other website. I am running Mac OS 12.7, 8GB RAM, FF 102.0.1

Any help/suggestions appreciated.

I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?

Earlier I logged in to Firefox to pose a question. Checking email, I had a notice from Mozilla that my account was used to sign in: Firefox on Windows 10 / United States (estimated) / Thursday, Oct 23, 2025.

Does Firefox think I'm using Win 10??? I checked my computer and it verifies that I am running Win 11 with all updates.

Call me confused. Or is this a non-issue? I ask because I'm trying to get into a member website and after I login, it takes me to a page that is for new signers ... not an existing member. Has happened several times.

Hello, you keep coming up with new and different ways to use Firefox, but you are not able to fix it to where Firefox can be used with too many websites. I am constantly having to use Microsoft Edge to connect to Hulu and The Hartford Ins. Co., just to name two which I use frequently. I don't like it, especially the problem with Hulu, which I use a lot, being retired. There are several other websites with which I have problems when I use Firefox, but can't think of them right now because I use them much less frequently.

I would be eternally grateful if you could get those problems fixed once and for all. Oh yeah, I do contribute do Mozilla once or twice per year.

Yesterday, I ran a format on my computer with Firefox in installed on it. When I tried to recover my settings, history and bookmarks later using sync after logging in to my account nothing happened. Can you please help me recover my data? Thanks in advance.

Hello dear community! My firefox keeps crashing when trying to open a tab or close a tab. I can't replicate it since it happens on random tab-closing and tab-opening. I think it's just crashing when doing something like clicking anywhere and NOT when doing nothing while the system is idling. Thank you for your help! So I deleted my old mozilla account since I abandoned the email that it was linked to, but when I tried to sync with my new account I get this. Is there anyway to do this without having to make a new profile?

I tried making a new profile and copy and pasting my profile into the new one, but still get the same pop up. I guess there's something in my profile that says it's been synced before, is there anyway I can find that and delete it or change it?

On my computer Firefox ask for the master password every time at startup. On other computers in my family, Firefox only ask for the Master Password when accessing a site with a password. I tried : - to disable than reenable Master Password - start in SafeMode without success. How can I solve my issue ? Thanks in advance for your help

Since a recent update, whenever I try to go to ufc.om, Firefox shows me the error in the attached image. It used to display ufc.com without issues before the update [ don't remember which update ].

Other browsers [ Chrome and Edge ] display ufc.com without issues.
