I was in italy when I first created my firefox account and by default it choose italian as language. All of my search results are in italian even though in browser settings I choose English as preffered language. Now I discovered that actually my firefox profile is in italian that's why I see results in italian. In the profile settings (https://accounts.firefox.com/settings), there is no option to change the language. Please help.

please note it seems possible that this category is specifically for download of firefox, this is not so. opting for this category given the possibility that that theory is mistaken, and due to not seeing any other category that might be more suitable

using firefox developer edition (also couldn't find an individual category for this), and when downloading any files, it saves automatically without asking where/what to name it etc., as preferred. but specifically for pdf files, it always opens them in a new tab upon completing the download; this can be very frustrating when downloading larger quantities, especially with it switching to that file tab and away from the source of downloading. firefox is not even the default for opening pdf in the first place

looked through preferences for anything (and tested anything that looks potentially relevant, to no avail), looked for a solution online from various sources and search methods, no dice

how can this be disabled?

I accidentally double clicked on "Downloads" after accessing the "Tools" menu so all of my downloads in the "Downloads list" is now gone... :(

I know that the actual files aren't deleted but I can no longer see the location of the files I've recently downloaded :( :(

When Firefox updated on my Windows 7 computer, I could no longer access my email on Outlook.com. I had to revert to an earlier restore point on my computer (and thus the previous version of Firefox) to use Outlook.

When I click the "restart to update" button it restarts but the button is still there and it's not working. I even restarted my laptop and still nothing. Is there anyway for me to fix it?

I downloaded my bookmarks from my Desktop. I emailed the file to my laptop. How do I integrate this new .html file into my laptop? When I open the .html file, it comes up with a very nice list of my websites by name and they show as a link. Now I need to get them from the .html file and merged into the laptop. Can anyone point me toward the right help files on Firefox or tell me how to do it? Thanks a lot in advance. Mark

I have Dlink web cams. They are only accessable via a MyDlink app. The app is only compatible with Firefox 51 or 52. How do i get older versions running on my laptop?

At some point every night, my Firefox (and only Firefox) reverts to version 111 from the latest version. This happens on 2 different Windows 11 machines.

I can only get Firefox to run again by running from command prompt with "-allow-downgrade" option and then updating again.

I usually don't notice until I launch Firefox the following morning and it gives me a message that the profile was created with an older version and to exit or create a new profile.

I've had Firefox open and then it reverts and it gives me a XULRunner error about the profile being used by an older version.

I don't have any special backup or restore software running and the physical files in my Firefox folder in c:\program files\mozilla firefox are being physically pushed to a prior version dated 3/21/2023.

On both machines, I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled and it's good for a day and then reverts.

No log entries for the reversion can be found. It's just back to a prior version.

I've never come across anything like this before and have scanned for any malware or other issue, but haven't found anything.

I want to install the latest Firefox. This "Michael... password ________" ... "DESKTOP-KSPITTM\Michael" is getting in the way. Who is Michael? What is Expedia? Past installs did not put such obstacles in the way.

I am having a problem trying to download files from my school I get the error message " failed inscloudget.net."
