My Firefox (version up to date) crashes frequently, without any meaningful error message, just "sorry". Sometimes crashed sites cannot be restored. This is particularly aggravating when it happens amidst a working process. I have no clue how to prevent this. Ideas welcome. Thanks to everybody in advance!. Thomas

hello, i have a huge issue with my firefox and i cant seem to fix it or somehow understand the cause why my tabs sometimes browser crashes unexpectedly and sometimes i get a blue screen on my laptop. maybe there is a problem with my pc but it doesnt change the fact why firefox tabs are crashing really often this is one of my latest crash reports: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/3721bbdd-5f3a-4b02-bd0d-60c1e0250208

Firefox will show that audio is "playing" but no sound will come out, unless I connect a bluetooth speaker or headphones.

Solutions tried (and failed):

1. uninstalling all audio drivers 2. checking if it's a problem with my computer (it's not, every other application plays sound) 3. enabling cookies 4. allowing autoplay video and audio 5. completely uninstalling and clean installing firefox again 6. turning off bluetooth to see if the pairing is the problem 7. cleared cache 8. turned off any adblock and/or extensions whatsoever 9. allowed drm content to play 10. allowed pop-ups 11. reset settings preferences

any help or input is appreciated. Thank you!

When I open firefox, or try to go to any page at all, all that I get is the tab crash reporter.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, including removing all old profiles. So I now have no extensions or add-ons enabled. I have disabled hardware acceleration.

firefox does run successfully in troubleshooting mode, so that must be doing something different. But I have not been able to make it run out of troubleshooting mode.

There is nothing in about:crashes, or in AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports

What could be going wrong?

Audio doesn't work with Firefox. This appears to be ONLY a Firefox problem. Headphones work with Edge. Computer speakers work. In Windows settings, testing audio works. But when I attempt to listen to something in Firefox, there is no sound at all.

I am to the point of frustration that I may have to swap Firefox being my primary browser. No matter whether I click a link in an email or I type the web address manually, the page is crashing. I checked for updates, closed the browser and re-opened. I cannot figure out why every web page is crashing. I am not having this issue with any other browser.

Hi, I apologize in advance for sending this thread out from my mobile browser, but it's the safer option at this point.

This problem started after I went into my about:config page and disabled browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory. After these crashes began, I went and re-enabled this setting, but the problem persisted on all websites.

So far, I've:

• Opened and closed Firefox an innumerable amount of times
• Uninstalled a potentially beefy addon (Shinigami Eyes)
• Ensured 'recommended performance settings' & 'use hardware acceleration' were disabled
• Refreshed Firefox (and restored all addons & themes to how they previously were)

I really don't know what to do, and I'm very distressed. I want to keep using Firefox! I'm hesitant about uninstalling & reinstalling, but if that's the solution I can try it out.

i have been using firefox for quite some time. but as of late when i open a reels video on f/b sound works fine just no video. i have deleted ff and re loaded the latest ver. it will work on microsoft edge any help appreciate

My screen has been zoomed so I only see half of the email or image. Support at yahoo said that this is a Firefox issue. I would like to"unzoom" so I can see the full screen ar one time.

When I try to log in, I get the "your account has been locked for security reasons" message. I understand I'm supposed to get an email with a code to confirm my identity, but I didn't. I tried multiple times in the last few days. The only mail I got from Mozilla is one asking me to log in to change my password. But obviously, I can't log in.

I have noticed that just recently videos across all different websites are not displaying properly. The image part of the video is a green scrambled mess. The audio is fine, but the images are wrong. I am not having this issue on a different browser, and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. I don't know if changing any of the settings will help or if there's a bug in one of the updates.

Problem with video playback; after a while/randomly, Firefox crashes, slows down the laptop and video is displayed as shown in the attached image. Laptop model: Thinkpad T16 Gen 3, CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 165U with Intel graphics. Firefox version on windows 11: 134.02 (64bit).

I have a security key on my mac where if i want to log into a site i would need to put my finger on the touch pad (M3 macbook). However, whenever it prompts me to do it on zen, It doesn't work at all. Can someone help me, thank you very much.
