I was able to open reddit.com without any problems earlier, but recentrly I'm not able to load it up anymore. The loading screen is eternal and it doesnt show any kind of error (unless it tries to connect for too long like a couple of minutes, then the error does shows up). The site still sends me notificarions through the browser though. Any other site loads up without a problem. I tried to use methods mentioned in the help article (turned off proxy, turned on network.dns.disableIPv6, deleted cookies and cache). In other browsers (Edge, for example) reddit.com loads just fine. Please help me if you can.

This has been brought up before, but not with this exact question (not that I could find, at least).

I understand that cookies cannot be synced across devices, but this is not what I am asking for. Is there a way to make firefox sync the list of exceptions? Meaning, only the specified website URL and its status, not the cookies from these sites.

I have about 30 bookmarks on Firefox I use all of them on a daily basis. When I opened my Mac today, it had different wallpaper on the screen. I could not find Firefox on my dashboard at all. I had to pull it from my launchpad app. Please help my... I'm desperate !! Kenneth Mee (medic1464@aol.com)

This isn't the first time this has happened. After each occurrence, I have to completely uninstall the browser and reinstall it from scratch. This means I have to reopen all my tabs, which is very annoying. In Chrome, I have had a large number of tabs open for many years and it works fine.

With Mozilla, something terrible is happening... I have many tabs open in Mozilla, and there comes a moment when, upon launching the browser and opening two or three tabs, Mozilla starts consuming up to 10 gigabytes of RAM. If I open a few more tabs, the browser crashes. I don't need to open 50 or 100 tabs, just 7-8-10 tabs are enough to make the browser crash. Moreover, if I open a new tab and go to google.com, the browser takes a very long time to load, even if it's the second tab.

This problem has happened before. I don't do anything with the browser, just visit sites like YouTube.

Clearing the cache and other recommended actions do not yield positive results. This is very annoying. Mozilla is my first and favorite browser, which I have been using for almost 20 years. I wouldn't want to uninstall Mozilla.

Firefox crashes whenever I use ctrl v or right click, and pulls up a window that it crashed. Whenever I start it back up, it says it wasn't able to restore session, then restores it anyway after I press to restore it. Another thing is whenever I try and upload a file onto a site it crashes as well. I'm on Mac OS x 13 and reinstalling firefox hasn't fixed it. This is relatively sudden, it happened about around 3 days ago for the first time, and at the same time I noticed it happening certain sites also started giving me '502 Bad Gateway' errors. Does anyone know what's happening and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Windows 10. Weird glitch.

If I use Wondershare UniConverter's downloader function to download a video, as soon as the download starts, all Firefox open windows close. This is a recent thing, the last couple of weeks or so. I have reinstalled Firefox and UniConverter. The first time I tried it after reinstalling UniConverter, all was well. But the same issue has shown up again. I have tried rebooting my PC to no effect.

Any bright ideas welcome!

I am migrating to a new laptop. The new laptop keeps asking me for a primary password. I have never set one up. This issue doesn't happen on the old machine, only the new one. It also won't let me disable the pop-up that asks for the primary password. Please advise.

Automatically hide taskbar in desktop mode => Enabled Firefox => Maximised When cursor is moved to outer edge of screen, taskbar should unhide (Expected behaviour) but in this case it remain hidden (Reality). Firefox along with all other spinoffs give same result. Chromium based browser works perfect, and taskbar automatically unhide itself.

As OLED screen have became common as monitor, Taskbar auto-hide is must. If this issue cann't be fixed I may have to change my primary browser which I used for almost 15 years.

Kindly, look into it. If Chromium can do it, why not Firefox.

Always shows "Failed to check for updates" On version 125.0.3 and still says needs to be updated. Then just run the install again and then it stops for a bit still on same version and then shows up needing update...been doing the same thing for a while now.

Before the update on April 29 I had no issues with my eBay account on Firefox. Now I am unable to get the pages to work properly. I cannot list any items for sale nor can I change any of my items in my store. Nothing saves and then redirects me to the homepage. eBay is one of my trusted seitz so I have no idea what’s causing this. It’s not eBay because my other accounts work fine on Chrome and on Safari. It happened exactly when the last update happened. And the only way that I can actually get back to the original site is to clear all my cookies and log out and start all over again, only to have the same issues over and over. I don’t know who to contact. I’m losing money in my Business every day because of this so I’m going to have to change my browser unfortunately if I don’t get a solution as soon as possible. I was using FF on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS. Had version FF 120.x and playing video in Netflix worked fine. Then I updated to FF 124.x and playing video stopped with error F7355-1203.

I've checked the DRM setting and it is enabled, I checked addons and I have OpenH264 and Widevine installed, both set to always active.

I've checked installed codecs and I do have libavcodec58 installed. No update for that available via apt. I also have ffmpeg installed, no problem with that either. I can play Netflix videos in Chrome, but not in Firefox now. Something happened to Firefox when I updated from 120.x to 124.x. Today I updated to 125.x, same problem, Netflix video won't play.

I've unchecked the DRM setting and re-checked it, and that does reinstalled Widevine but does not fix the problem.

Any ideas what could be the cause?

I want to have an automated task that sorts the incoming mail to separate folders. I have done this easily in Outlook, but Firefox's Thunderbird is different and I haven't figured it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hotmail (Outlook) search function has not been working for months. I signed in using Chrome and no problem.

I realized search in my hotmail account was not working maybe 6 months ago and I've been finding ways to work around it, but today, i got upset and tried to figure out what was wrong. I signed out and signed in. I googled what to do, updated Firefox, to no avail. Then I read to try another browser. Chrome worked fine for outlook/hotmail search function.

I need this search function. I prefer Firefox. let me know if it can be fixed?

I'm contacting you to ask for help with a problem I'm having with Mozilla Firefox when attempting to visit the website https://proroofingcontractorgreenville.com/. The website won't load, and I'm not sure if that's because of a technical glitch, incompatibility with certain browsers, or anything the browser may be obstructing.

Has anyone else had this problem or has advice on how to fix it? I've tried removing extensions and cleaning the cache on my browser, but the issue still exists.

I know that there is a generic Linux iteration that can be downloaded, but it does not appear to allow for use on ARM64. Is there a way that I can download, install, and access Firefox on my Orange Pi 5 Plus?

When photos, videos, or websites are linked on a FB comment, it used to display a thumbnail preview below the comment. Now it just shows the link. On mobile, the preview appears. So I'm thinking a setting got changed on the desktop version.

Does anyone know what the issue is and how to correct?
