In the last couple of days I've been unable to login to my virginmedia accounts using firefox, all other browers work fine, I can enter details no trouble but as soon as I press the blue button on their page nothing happens, cleared cookies and data for virgin but didnt help.

Ok-So this popup window popped up when I returned to Firefox. I don't think it's legit and I am wondering how I go about blocking it permanently. I searched the settings but didn't see where I could post the URL so that is why I am posting this here.

I copied the URL but I don't want to post it here in case it could do something to someone else's system. But here is the screenshot. Please advise me what I need to do. Thank you! TGIF!

I am on a Mac running Sonoma.

Recaptcha isn't working in Firefox. It works in Chrome, Opera, and Edge with no issues, it will either just go to a check mark or open the window with the pictures to choose, on both regular pages and on the Google Recaptcha Demo site Google Recaptcha Demo site. But when I load a page that requires Recaptcha in Firefox, it just spins forever. It was working fine a few hours ago, and I didn't change any settings or anything in Firefox. I was filling out a job application and it worked fine, then I went to another job application and Recaptcha won't work at all, even on the Recaptcha Demo site.

I'm on version 125.0.3 (64-bit), on Windows 10. Not using a VPN or anything like that, just a standard Ethernet connection, with whatever Charter gives me.

Steps I've tried, none of which have helped:

1. Cleared Cookies. 2. Restart Browser. 3. Restart Computer. 4. Restart Modem and Router. 5. Opening Firefox in troubleshooting mode. 6. Ensured Firefox was up to date. 7. Reinstalling Firefox. 8. Turned Connection Settings to no proxy. 9. Turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection. (It's set on standard otherwise, and I didn't change it) 10. Release/Renew IP via Command Prompt.

I'm genuinely at a loss of what to do, after a couple of hours of searching around for solutions. I don't get how it just stopped working in the span of like ten minutes when I didn't change any settings or anything. Firefox is my main browser and it would be a tremendous pain to have to use another browser for any pages that require Recaptcha.

Any assistance or advice to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated!

I want to protect my password memory with a master password - fine. But in 99% of my time, I don't need to enter login data. Even worse, if FF starts on an "invisible" monitor, I cannot move the window.

Is there a way to have FF prompt only for the password if I attempt to log into a site ? ... it already does that when I cancel the start-up prompt.... so is there an "auto cancel at startup ?"

Need help figuring out why Firefox has a memory leak after an extended use of Firefox browsing. Don't know if its the result of an extension having this issue, or if its a Firefox bug. When I view my bank statement in Firefox, everything appears fine, but when I print the statement, all occurrences of boldfce "S" on the printout are blank. This problem does not occur with Google. Running macOS Catalina, all maintenance applied, Firefox is at 125.0.3.

I noticed that FireFox downloaded a Firefox HTML Document called GnT6qZGD with a size of 0KB, during this time I had tabs open from both https://wago.io/weakauras and https://www.curseforge.com/

Scanned it with Bitdefender and it was clean and when editing in notepad it is empty and a blank page when accidentally opening it.

Then completed a full system scan and it come up as clean.

I have 2 questions,

1st, Is this still a bug in Firefox that appears to have been reported before? 2nd Should I be concerned about it?

Today I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Since doing this, the taskbar icon is not the same as it has always been.

It used to be that if I pinned Firefox to the taskbar, I would click on it and the default Firefox window would open. When the mouse was right-clicked, the icon showed there was a choice of the default Firefox window and an option for a privacy window I could choose. I did that frequently.

Now if I pin Firefox to the taskbar there is no privacy window option. If I pin the private browser to the taskbar, this becomes the default window with options for the non-private default browser available with a right mouse click.

I would like to know how to pin the default Firefox window to the taskbar and have the private window option show up when that icon is clicked please.

My system broke during an update. Now I want to import my old Firefox userdata, but everytime I try to use the old data firefox just forces the creation of a new profile?

Is it completely impossible to recover data not created with the same firefox version?

Others asked and were pointed to extensions. As long as extensions get access to my pages, I'm not willing to use any. So, is there an option in advanced settings, to return to previously viewed tab when I close a tab? Thanks, Cat

I keep trying, but to no avail. Gmail works with Chrome on my PC. How can I fix this?

It has been observed that when a user uses the Firefox browser and tries to download a DDD file, the file format is .pdf instead of .ddd. In the devtools, it was observed that the content-type is text/plain in the response to the request. I changed the content-type to application/octet-stream, but the error still persists

After installing Firefox on a new computer, where everything worked fine, I installed a number of fonts. Afterwards, all of text within Firefox appear to be in some version of Arabic. I have tried resetting, deleting and reinstalling, changing the Firefox language, and deleting fonts. None of these seem to work. Firefox is set to English US.

New install of Firefox set up with a 'wrong' email account. Tried to use the 'Mozilla account' page to fix this by using secondary email and then making it primary. But the secondary email I want to use is not allowed by Firefox giving an 'Account already exists' error. What should I do?
