Hello,

When I call up a website that a user requests a certificate.

Can I tell Firefox to save my decision.

How can I delete this decision afterwards?

I can't find anything about this. Delete website setting does not help.

Only resetting the whole profile would work.

But I don't want to do that.

When I click the address bar, Firefox lists favorite sites. How do I disable this list until after I've typed?

I don't want the list because I don't want to be distracted by these sites.

While they are safe-for-work, I'd rather "fun" sites didn't come up when I'm working with other people.

Below are communication I have had with both Glarysoft Support and Hideaway VPN by Firetrust Limited. I have narrowed the issue of detection of Trojan:HTML/Phish!pz by MS Defender While running Glary Utilities. (see screenshot).

Jeremy, Thank you for your rapid response. I connected to 3 different VPN servers, and used the link you provided (https://user-support.firetrust.com/Tickets/Reply/36314) below via Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. Connections to Seattle, Dallas, and Washington DC all produced the same result as before ONLY with Firefox. The issue WAS NOT reproduced by Chrome or Edge. I hope this helps resolve the problem because, I have issues with both Edge and Chrome. Particularly with their self-serving propensities.

- - This MS Defender notice occurred during a 1-Click Maintenance/Temporary File Cleaner; - file: C:\Users\Rodman\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\wg6stjgb.default-release-1640201893394 \cache2\entries\08D20F0659D23D2EF0621F044374EA076FED5146 -An immediate 1-Click Maintenance/Temporary File Cleaner produces no notices (I assume because the Trojan has been quarantined). However, on further investigation I discovered that this notice occurs when the VPN (Hideaway by -Firetrust Limited) is active. Turning off the VPN then opening Firefox and visiting the same site produced "No notice" from MS Defender during a 1-Click Maintenance/Temporary File Cleaner procedure. -Therefore, I am CCing a copy of this to Hideaway Support. Please contact them ([edited] @firetrust.com) to see if together a resolution can be obtained. -

Hi there, Yes, that is odd, as nothing in Hideaway itself could cause this, possibly however it is due to the IP address of the server you are connected to via Hideaway?

You can see what IP address it is in Hideaway while it is connected on the main Hideaway screen, eg the below screenshot for the NZ server:

I use firefox with duckduckgo as my search engine.Every search was becoming so slow so I went to settings and deleted cookies and site data thinking this would unclog things. Now I cant access any site. Is there a way to reinstate this data?

One screenshot shows an image from the faa.gov website from Chrome that is clean and easy to read. The other image shows the same website from Firefox, with the menu popups already activated when I have not selected or hovered the mouse over anything. They just open automatically, and I cannot make them go away. Screen is cluttered, making this webpage unreadable and unnavigable. Other pages on website do the same in Firefox. This DOES NOT HAPPEN in Chrome. Some setting is off. All selections I have found for popups make no difference. This happens with other websites. How do I fix this?

Yesterday, I noticed my ad blocking wasn't working. I eventually realized Ublock had been uninstalled. I'm still dumbfounded about how this happened, I mean, you really can't do that by mistake.

Today, same thing happened with loss of ad blocking. This time, I noticed UBlock was not on my toolbar. It also did not appear in the Puzzle Piece drop down menu. It was still installed, but inoperable. I had to drag 'n drop it's .xpi onto the addon manager to revive it.

The other day , I posted about blank buttons on my toolbar. Not only blank, but not operational for whatever addon they represented. Today, after the Ublock reinstatement, once again blank button appeared.

I develop profiles in stages, like templates for further enhancements. Addons, etc. Before I did anything, I went to three of those more basic profiles, one more further developed in terms of customization, to compare with the current one.

They both not only had blank areas where before there were icons, but UBlock was uninstalled on all of them.

Have you ever seen anything like that?

I know, I know, you think I'm crazy!

BTW, I cleared the startup cache on both, as was suggested in the previous thread, and the icons returned to the toolbar, but in two of them, they are still missing in about:addons

I can reach the login page for Duolingo.com using Chrome, but FireFox website always says I should advise the site Duplingo when I try to use Firefox. It still loads correctly in Chrome and I can use that. I've been using Duolingo in FF for years with no problem until today. I can't contact Duolingo in FF because of the same message. Suggestions please.

I have just started getting Access Denied messages from my Banking account. The bank is telling me that it is due to updated security and that I should start using Chrome or Edge browsers which I do not want to do. It has something to do with the Enhanced Tracking Protection settings. Does anyone know how to fix this?
