When I close Firefox and open a new browser session I have to always recover my Google account(s) because it signs me out of all of them despite my settings under 'Privacy & Security >> History' being set to Firefox will remember history. I tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling from scratch and followed guides but nothing is working and it is so frustrating to have to sign into multiple accounts every time I turn on my computer to use the browser, check my emails, view my calendar, or to just go on YouTube. I cannot do anything without singing into my account every time and I have no set rules to auto delete cookies or any browser data whatsoever. This started occurring randomly after Firefox auto-updated and I can't figure out what changed to cause this to happen.

I am trying to remove my login details on firefox for my microsft account. Everytime I try i go to www.office.com or portal.office.com to log into my account the username for the account is always displayed.

I have gone on the the privacy and setting and removed all cached data, removed history and cache when closing firefox.

But everytime I go to the website to log onto my microsoft account the account user name remains. Is there a way of removing this information. I ahve also cleared auto.fill and disabled this within the about:config.

Could anyone advise me how this can be done as I cannot seem to find anyother settings that I may have to change for this to be done!

Thanks!

HI all! Hope you all are doing well.

I am using user.js file to harden my Firefox to the best possible way. I have few question about that process.

1. Where i can find the complete list of all active user_pref settings? All of the options i have to edit them. like user_pref("security.sandbox.content.level", 6); - now i have 6 by default but what is the range?

2. Is there any tool i can use to update my list with the latest entries, and to remove the obsolete entries?

3. Sandbox - what are the best possible ranges and settings for the below entries?

ser_pref("security.sandbox.socket.win32k-disable", true); user_pref("security.sandbox.content.level", 6); user_pref("security.sandbox.content.shadow-stack.enabled", true); user_pref("security.sandbox.gmp.win32k-disable", true); user_pref("security.sandbox.gpu.shadow-stack.enabled", true); user_pref("security.sandbox.gpu.level", 2);

Thanks well in advance! Firefox 116.0.3

What is bizarre, Mozilla, is the fact that in Windows version 116.0.3 64-bit, that while using <browserleaks.com> test for webRTC, that the WebRTC leak test, RTC PeerConnection, & RTC DataChannel leak in Windows & not in the Linux OS.

Bottom line: how do we configure Firefox in Windows to NOT leak?

Hi,

I was doing an online CTF challenge that uses an http server and doesn't work with https. The challenge features a fake login prompt and firefox keeps showing me the "This site is not secure" warning when I try to type a password, which is distracting and completely useless here because I'm not sharing any private info on that site.

I have an account at Walmart.com. After the last time I placed an order, something changed. Now, just for simply going to their online site to browse, the page immediately rolls over to a login page. I cannot access the site simply to shop at all, without Walmart forcing me to sign in. This is annoying enough that I am considering canceling my Walmart account and shopping with other retailers. There is plenty of competition out there. This does not happen (as far as I know) with Chrome or edge, the browsers that do not prefer to use.

Trying to browse to a website that I know is safe, but it's an old site and it looks like the security certificate is expired. I'm getting:

"Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to jeconais.fanficauthors.net. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely.

What can you do about it?

jeconais.fanficauthors.net has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem."

I cannot find a way to bypass this or turn this off. Why is there no option to do this (when there has been in previous versions)?
