Ok, I've resolved this in the past, several version of Firefox ago, under windows. Firefox crashes silently, open it again and no tabs are restored. Open firefox again and look in recently closed windows and the one with my tabs is not there, only little utility windows that are popped up when I log in at the coffee shop, so my recently closed windows are overwritten with windows with no tabs.

So I go to my profile sessionstore-backups folder and copy it to the desktop. I have 6 files, previous.jsonlz4, recovery.baklz4, and recovery.jsonlz4 at around 8 megs in size. I copied each to the folder one level up and renamed them sessionstore.jsonlz4, and each time restarted firefox. All that opens is a blank tabbed firefox window.

There was never an existing sessionstore.jsonlz4 file anywhere I could find, even with firefox closed, this file never appears anywhere I could find it. Searching files with Windows was also unsuccessful.

I feel like I have captured the files with my tabs, based on the date modified, several were from before the crash. Why can't I find a working tutorial on how to restore my tabs? Nothing I've found on the support site works though I follow the directions exactly.

What has happened to all of my Task Bar / Tool Bar? As of today, Sunday Nov. 26th, everything is gone. In addition the browser itself looks "different" some how.

Since the recent installation of the latest version of Firefox I am getting a simple 'Forbidden' message when I attempt to get to the Go Outdoors web site. I also get the same result when attempting to go to Blacks, another outdoor supplies provider similar to Go Outdoors.

I would like to change my password for Mozilla Firefox account. I am doing so because I have been notified of a password security breach. However, upon signing into my account via https://accounts.firefox.com/signin (it doesn't matter which device), I cannot change my password with the new one without the red-colored incorrect password window popping up. I know my signin is correct because I have just signed in using it. Whats the problem guys?

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

Whenever i attempt to save my passwords or login, it will not be saved in the browser. It will also prompt me to enter in my primary password to view saved logins which are still not saved in the browser. I have enabled autofill on the account but the issue continues to happen.

When I login into some WEB site it goes in to an endless loop continues? It used to work before you forced the download of version of 0esr, when the old none 0esr worked fine. As a example: I am trying to login to xcelenergy.com site and it keeps flipping back and forth with these two lines ( parts of lines deleted because you might get into my account )in the address bar -

I have included the 2 of screen captures that it flip's through of maybe a another 2 screens (can not tell, it flips through to fast).

 Firefox version using now:      115.6.0esr (64-bit) or the 32bit Version, I tried both. Then load an old back version it works fine but then it gets upgrade to the new version again.
  my version of windows:         8.1, with all Firefox ad blockers and other ad blockers turned off or on does not matter. 
      The reason I will not upgrade my software is that I would have to buy a lot of new software upgrades that I use, and can  

not afford at this time on my retirement.

Goodd day from UK I run firefox esr 115.9.1 and find the the F5 refresh key does NOT refresh the images. The same applies when using the "reload" icon in the menu.

Reading other posts, nothing seems to apply here.

There are NO add-ons at all and everything is cleared on close. The text DOES seem to change.

As a web developer checking updates this is extremely annoying as only hope is keep closing the browser (to clear everything) and restart - the loads new images etc.

I use several versions of Firefox (2, 20, 56) to ensure compatability with olf browsers and it seems to be only those over 100 with this issue.

Does anyone know if this is a "feature" or a"bug" and is there any simple (!) way around the issue?
