the only autoplay setting i can find is under privacy and security. the page shows DEFAULT FOR ALL WEBSITES: Block Audio and Video, but videos still open and play. the page does not retain the change when i select the button REMOVE ALL WEBSITES. this problem has not been happening for years. it may have begun about six months ago. thank you for your time

Hi, Before I try to refresh Firefox to fix an issue with Youtube pages not loading properly (I've tried everything else), I need to know whether or not my open windows and tabs will be preserved. Thanks in advance!

In Windows 10, Audible throws this error:

An Error Occurred An error occurred during processing. Please close this window and try again.

Other browsers are fine. Other media in Firefox such as BBC Sounds are fine. I cleared the history, then reset Firefox. I thought it might be an issue with the latest Realtek driver, but I could not roll back all Realtek drivers. So I installed an Asus DS Xonar 7.1 PCI soundcard. This shows exactly the same problem.

I am unable to access x.com, and I think this is caused by hackers.

Also, the developer drawer Console tab issues this error before being redirected to x.com/account/access:

I think the HTML that loads in Firefox is corrupted or tampered.

I am unable to either log in or access accounts on the websites indeed.com, x.com and chatgpt's openai.com

I used different computers (Windows 10 and Windows 11), different networks (Public library and private residence), and different versions of Firefox (125 and 126.0), one browser without any add ons and another with the "uBlock Origin" one, and I kept observing captcha or human authentication related errors.

With x.com, I would pass the human verification challenge (solve 10 puzzles), and then I would get the error "Something went wrong. Due to a technical issue, we couldn't complete this request. Please try again." Just lately after decade plus of using Firefox I am getting computer hung up, nothing running but Firefox with 7 tabs open. That is how I been running FF for years, same 7 tabs open and no problems until a coupler months ago. I am on Windows 10 64 bit current with May updates, 12GB main memory, Intel Core i5 @ 3.20GHz, 500 GB WD HDD. The task manager right now is showing 49 FF processes running. All is well right now, but maybe by end of day or tomorrow it will hang up. Right now Virtual memory is set at 14838. I have it set at automatic manage paging file. My hard drive has 281 GB free space. Below is a warning error I see when FF hangs and sends in a report.

When I am on YouTube's website if I click (or right click) and of the other YouTube video links Every link on the page opens up. This doesn't happen if a use any other browser.

Firefox browser not working right. I can change about 3 screens than it just spins back & forth it wont chage half to close & open back up to get it to change crome dont do that & the slide bar on side dont work when you change screens wont go back to top poor service fixing it

This is an utterly bizarre issue, and I don't know if it's my fault. On most web page I go to, when typing in an input field, each time I press A, whatever my mouse cursor is hovering over is clicked. This is extremely annoying and inconvenient. I may be searching google when I'm redirected back to the google home page. I might be typing in duolingo when the question is suddenly submitted and I am marked incorrect. It's a major inconvenience and I have no clue what could be causing it. It's only in firefox, not any other browser. It's only in web pages themselves, not in the url bar.

When I try calling some of my Facebook friends from my PC, I get this message "Video calling is not supported on this browser " . But when I try calling other Facebook friends, everything works just well. When I try calling my Facebook friends from my cellphone, no problem.

I've tried downloading 2 different add-ons to replace loaded words in newspaper articles with more accurate ones. However, they are useless unless I can specify which words to replace. There used to be an option to edit settings for a particular add-on in about:addons, but it has vanished. Where can it be found now?

Discovered that until now I had been unable to store passwords on this browser, and discovered I would need to set a Primary Password before being able to set any. I followed the recommended instructions to set one, but no matter what I entered, it would be unable to set. (Password quality meter was not full (75-80%~), if that is significant.)

After this, I would receive continuous pop-up windows asking to set a Primary Password, but all attempts to set such a password would fail (Window named :"Alert", with text stating "Unable to Change Password.") These would persist until I shut down my computer, and I stopped receiving these popup windows, but ultimately, I am still unable to set a primary password., and thus, am unable to save passwords.

(Pop-up Windows were labelled "Change Password", and had text stating "Security Device: Software Security Device", along with having the password change form)

I am trying to go to mylogin.aflac.com which I always went to and was fine and now all the sudden I get that I need a passkey now. see attached for problem and please fix it. thanks

I've had Firefox as my default browser for several years. Recently every time I turn on my computer Firefox shows up but it is immediatly overrun by M Edge and I have to remove it several times before it'll go away. I recently lost my connection to my ptinter and don't know how to get it back. I suspect the Edge did away with it.

Trying to us kp.org and Firefox would not recognize the selections made. At times Firefox would not let me make or retain the selection made. Switched to Chrome and site worked smoothly.

I have two separate client that can not use Firefox to get to SharePoint, they put in their login and then are just looped back or it says they don't have an account. Both can access from Chrome and Edge, I have reinstalled fresh on both clients and the issue still happens in Safe Mode. I have already contacted Microsoft who states because it works in Chrome and Edge the issue is going to be Firefox.

There is problem going on when I turn my laptop in the morning. It has appeared three times now. The message say " Open or Fresh Firefox" The first time I did a Fresh, the second one I clicked "Open". I later get an update and I didn't do the update then the next morning I cannot login into my laptop. I kept getting codes to enter my password. Finally, a security screen appeared and I was able to login. This morning when turning on my laptop I see the same message appear again. I did the refresh Firefox. I had to go back and reset all my personal setting.

Also, I am letting you know that I am being monitor and I am having other problems with my email and iPhone. Question: Who is monitoring the monitor?
