All of a sudden I am not able to download files on my MacbookPro in Firefox. I am using Version 126 on Mac OS 12.7.5 Monterey.

Downloads are working if I use Safari, but I do not use it. I just used it for testing purposes. Is anybody else having this problem? I've already "refreshed" Firefox per their suggestion.

I prefer the Firefox browser. Outlook 365 used to open perfectly on my laptop, but it does not open now. Nothing different was done. I trouble shooted this with Outlook support, but it turns out that it is a Firefox problem.

Outlook 365 opens perfectly in Chrome on this laptop and on my phone and it still opens perfectly in Firefox on my old Macbook Pro from 2013.

What shall I do?

On Mac OS 14.4 Firefox hangs on launch and crashes, requiring "Force Quit" when I try to Refresh or Troubleshoot. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, and restarted computer several times. Have spent several hours trying multiple community suggestions to now avail.

I am not a programmer, but am able to follow instructions. I clearly need someone to hold my hand and walk me through the solution. (I even checked out the Kaspersky suggestion, but cannot install it because Firefox cannot connect to the Internet.)

I have downloaded and saved "Raw Data.docx" and "Application Basics tex.docx" from one of the crash reports.

P.S. On this question form Firefox guessed that my operation system was Mac OS x 10_15_7, but it is 14.4

Firefox interferes with Shift+Control+Command+4 which should give me a drag icon to copy an area of a webpage. Sometimes it works and sometimes Firefox prevents me from selecting a part of the page to copy and instead opens up a new tab. I don't want a new tab, I want to make a copy of part of a page. How can I disable that "New tab" function so that I can make a copy of part of my screen? Sometimes I have to resort to doing Shift+Control+Command+3 and making a copy of the whole screen, then putting that in an email so I can make a copy of just the portion that I wanted from the page. I am considering switching to SAFARI as my default browser because this makes me so mad.

Why is the update for the browser on iOS not automatically update itself by simply closing and opening again?

I am now not able to make video calls on my firefox for Mac browser. (It now says "Video calls not supported on this browser). I used this not that long ago, and it worked. Now it does not for any of my contacts. What can I do to resolve this?

Facebook will not load on my Macbook pro anymore.

I've been using Facebook on my Mac for many years, no problems.

About 2 months ago, it stopped loading: "Gah, your tab crashed."

I went through all the self-help tips, clearing add-ons etc, clearing cache, making sure Firefox and IOS are up to date, etc., nothing works.

I've now migrated to Safari but miss Firefox.

Thunderbird has its Events, i.e. to-do list items. macOS has Reminders Reminders[1], i.e. its form of to-do list items. It seems that while the macOS Reminders app only operates on reminders which are synced with the Apple iCloud service, there is nevertheless a repository of events/reminders local to the Mac, and it is managed via the EventKit[2] API.

Can Thunderbird for macOS sync its collection of Events with the macOS collection of Reminders, perhaps by calling EventKit?

My use case is that I have a set of events which I curated on a previous version of macOS, using the previous Reminders app. When I migrated to macOS 12 Monterey, the new Reminders app refused to show me my event data unless I synced it with iCloud. I do not want to put this data on anyone's cloud. However, macOS will show me notifications for some of my events. That is evidence that the event data remains locally. I would be happy to use Thunderbird as the front end to curate this local event data. I have just migrated to Thunderbird 115, starting with 115.5.1 on macOS 12.7.1 Monterey.

Purchased new iMac w/ Sonoma v 14.2. Contents of old computer were transferred to new one at the Apple Store but I cannot find my bookmarks now. Any advice is appreciated

A friend posted a link in our WhatsApp chat about free flights. I went to access it via my Mac, but FF immediately showed a warning message. However I was able to clink on the link via my iPhone. Why did I not get the same warning message on the phone?

I really wish I had taken a screenshot. Time to learn!
