Firefox starts with small box but don't have anything on screen, no buttons, options, no right click, no firefox button.
Today, I was working with firefox, suddenly, my screen changed and I could not understand what happened. I have restarted firefox, restarted laptop and redownloaded and installed latest firefox but same issue... I have a screen shot how it looks... let me know how can I upload the same.

Try in Firefox's safe mode and if that fails please attach a screenshot so we know what you are seeing:
You should see an option to attach the screen shot on your next post. It is a known problem that screenshots may not be attached to first posts.
hello aiindia, from another user we found out that this might be related to malware active on your pc. please close all firefox windows and try running firefox in safemode (by pressing the shift key while you're starting it). in firefox safemode go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove the entry named "Codec v1.0" or any other addons that look suspicious & you have not installed intentionally. afterwards see if you can run firefox normally again...
please also do an in-depth scan of your system with the security software already in place and/or a different tool like the free version of malwarebytes & keep firefox and your plugins up-to-date in order to stay safe on the web.

Thank you very much, I could open firefox in safe mode, I have checked for any extensions which are new or unknown to me, but there was no such extensions, so I have removed few of them and restarted firefox and it started fine.
I will check for Malwares also and remove it...

Glad it seems to be working again.
I assume you have not left it in safemode and it is ok.
You mention removing a few extensions, I don't suppose you remember what they were do you ?
You may wish to add any extensions back again now, if you notice one that causes this problem to re-ocur please post back with details, it may help others, and we may have some ideas for a fix or an alternative.
