After private browsing, does firefox overwrite the disk space it used. The default behavior, in Windows (as elsewhere), is to mark the disk space available. If the data is not overwritten, then a knowledge individual can recover the "private" data. I'm using Firefox 3.6.6 on XP but also also on Linux.
