Delete browsing data on quit, bug or feature

ᅠᅠᅠ

I've been having this strange behaviour in Firefox Nightly on Android, where the "Delete browsing data on Quit" setting, whether it is ticked or not, automatically closes open tabs. This used to not be a thing, and I wish for some clarification if this was supposed to do this from the start or not.

My settings under the "Delete browsing data on quit", which is of course turned on: Ticked: Browsing data, Cached images and files, Downloads Unticked: Open tabs, Cookies and site data, Site permissions

Tabs get closed, otherwise works as on tin.

Hi

Do you have the same issue in the Release version of Firefox for Android?

Hi, I assume this is an issue, then. I don't use any other versions, as they are unsuitable for my needs. I also don't intend to poke around and lose data, so my interest in this is purely academic until a patch is presented. I'll post a bugreport or something.

Thanks for the quick reply and best regards.

Hi, I've just filed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2033285 to make sure this issue is tracked.
