Yesterday, I had Firefox open and running perfectly fine, and I had forgotten to shut down my laptop before closing it. Today, when I reopened my laptop, the Firefox window that was open instantly closed. I tried opening Firefox again, but it kept opening and closing immediately. It would show that there was an open window of it, but the window itself wouldn't open. It would run in the background but never actually open. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it still did the same thing. Does anyone know a solution to this?

Nevermind, I just had to install it directly from Microsoft Store instead of the website. Try that to anyone else having that problem I guess.

Edit 2 hours later: My computer went to sleep and when I unlocked it again it had the same issue. Anyone have any fixes? I also did try installing an entirely new browser and it had the same issue.

Might that be a setting in your laptop bios?

Running Windows 11. I'm having this problem with Firefox 146.0.1. I do not see a window briefly flashing at all. I click on the Firefox icon, I see an hourglass for about 2 seconds, then the hourglass disappears. Event Viewer confirms firefox.exe has crashed:
