Copy / paste a bookmark on firefox place it in the root

When I am in my favorites, here for example :
- root --- internet ------windows ------ linux [ I am here ]
I copy / paste a bookmark in the linux folder, it goes directly to the root.
Is this normal? Can we copy it directly to the linux folder instead of Firefox pasting it to the root.
