I have a new installation of Firefox on a new M1 MacBook Pro. I copied over carefully selected settings files from my old computer, and now several icons are missing from the drop-down search and address boxes. I attempted renaming several of my transferred files to see if Firefox would rebuild them and correct the problem without success. Reinstalling Firefox was likewise unsuccessful. Does anyone know how to restore them? Please see attached image. Thank you.

According to my knowledge, the search bar shows stuff in browsing history and pinned items only. I suggest you to pin the items needed into your new system. If this is not possible, I suggest you to turn on "sync" feature of your FF in both the systems. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it. That doesn't really address the issue, though. Perhaps I can better explain it this way: The "Search Shortcut" icons at the bottom of the search menu are missing for several search engines. I just noticed that they are missing in in the Firefox Preferences page as well.

I didn't. I could still use help if anyone has any ideas.
