Hello,

Could you tell us a bit more about what you call Firefox Account Tips?

If this is an email you receive from Firefox, you should be able to unsubscribe by going at the bottom of any Firefox email and by clicking on "unsubscribe" or "Manage your communication preferences".

Hope that helps.

''scottie3 [[#question-1268681|said]]''
Firefox Account Tips
Are you referring to '''snippets'''?? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/snippets-firefox-faq If so, you can turn off all snippets: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/snippets-firefox-faq#w_how-do-i-hide-all-snippets Or, just hide the snippets that you want to see again: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/snippets-firefox-faq#w_i-donaot-like-a-specific-snippet-what-should-i-do

I recently added a secondary (backup) email address to my Firefox account. Now I am getting daily emails to this address (which I did not agree to). I can not login to manage email preferences with my secondary address: the login page says to login with primary address. When I login with my primary address, all email settings show as unsubscribed. Removing the secondary email address from my account has no effect. I still cannot login to manage settings for this address. The login page keeps reminding me to login with my primary address (apparently the secondary address is still connected to my account somehow).

How do I get rid of the unwanted emails?

Hi Thomas

You can try to access the mail preferences via this link. It can take quite some time to get a response mail, so be patient.

I now swapped the secondary and primary addresses for my account, which allowed me to access the email settings for the other address; this seems to have solved the problem.
