when open youtube get a persons channel (The Moon) that flashes and can't click or get out of it. Only happens in Firefox when remember history is on.
Am I hacked? When I turn off remember history youtube behaves normally in firefox browser. No problems in Chrome. I'm not subscribed to this guy.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
Hi I uninstalled kasperski password manager an re-installed it. Still the same. I uninstalled mozilla and reinstalled it, still the same. I can't use youtube anymore if I'm logged into google account. But can be logged in and use it on chrome. When I go to www.youtube.com it directs me to the usual youtube page. Then after a few seconds the page gets directed to a channel on youtube called "The Moon". Then his page flashes up and down on the screen and I can't click on anything or search anything the page is unresponsive. All I can do is exit firefox.
This is a screen shot but the page jumps

- How to clear the Firefox cache {web link}
If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?
While you are in safe mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
How to disable Hardware Acceleration {web link}
Hi, FredMcD, I deleted cookies and cache and disabled hardware accelerator but the problem persists. I also have another problem which is I had to delete one of my email addresses, seems that firefox is using it? I can't delete that firefox account now. :( Is this the problem?
So which YT site is it? I use YT on firefox and Chrome and have no issues your having. Sounds like you got something installed watching your actions and giving you popups.
So you think it's malware? I have Malwarebytes and an antivirus. It only happens when I'm logged into my google account and when on Firefox. And today it is a different channel I'm being redirected to. It is a channel I'm subscribed to.
clearing cache seemed to fix it. First time tried I didn't wait till it said it was done I guess... Does this mean it's not malware? Thanks for all the help.
Nope it's back!!!!
Not solved :(
