Sorry, maybe I wasn't good enough but the thing is importing won't work on a device with Android version 6.0 or higher.

So for doing (importing) this, you'll have to use a bit of technique-

  • By using your pc/laptop/anything (android version below 6.0 device). sync everything you need from chrome to firefox then sync your device with your pc/laptop/anything (android version below 6.0 device).
Hope this helps.

That depends, if your android version is below 6.0 then follow this-

Import your info from Chrome or the Android browser.

  • Tap the menu button (either below the screen on some devices ) or at the top-right corner of the browser) , select Settings, then Advanced and then Import options. Finally, tap Import.

If your device is above 6.0 then let me know.

Hi Sajjad thanks for the reply. Would you believe I did an update yesterday on my S8+, full operating system one of over 1gb. I can find the menu button and "settings" but no "advanced settings, I have the latest version of Firefox as well.

Thanks for trying anyway Sajjad. Guess it's back to chrome on the phone.

Well, you could do that or you could just do as I suggested. In future you'll get the option to do that, so be patient.
