CPU used up to 60% when I only use firefox for some web pages. What is the problem??
Recently my computer has been weird. I just need to use firefox to browse some web pages, then suddenly my computer gets so noisy - CPU used over 60%! I first thought that it might be somebody using my computer to dig some crypto coins, so I got MinerBlock on. It does not help. What is the problem?

Is this on many websites, some, a few?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Also, let's make sure your system is clean.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
Hi thank you for helping me! I only had a few pages opened. That’s why I think it’s so bizarre. I will try the ways you said though!
Go to about:performance and check, which webpage or addon is using resources.
