A online industry application does not allow the functionality under the new touchscreen computer, is there a way to disable the touch screen functions, to re enable the applications on line software capabilities?

Unfortunately this will disable touch screen on the device but not the actions of the mouse within Mozilla Firefox. I understand that Firefox cannot identify the touch screen actions. The software is advising the use use of chrome browser?
Would you give this a try :
Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and look for the preference : gestures.enabled_single_finger_input and set its value to false
Does that work ?
