It started a week or two ago. I cleaned cache. Restarted/reset firefox. Used ccleaner. Cleaned adobe flash cache.

It has happened before and I only fixed it after I reinstalled windows 10.

I only have one addon which is adblock plus + the standard default ones. 4GB ram in dual channel.

When it hangs, the sound (if I'm playing music on youtube that is) also hangs as well. Like an infinite loop/stutter for a split second or a second.

That sounds like the computers CPU is being overworked.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

It is possible that the CPU might be at fault but the problem is that it only started happening a week or two ago.

I have an office computer (a few years old) and I just use it for internet browsing and listening to music. No games, no audio/video editing, no nothing.

I actually just have 4-5 software installed on it and that's it. The bare minimum. Antivirus, browser, winrar, etc.

I will try safe mode and see if it still does that. The problem is that it's not easy to replicate it. It's somewhat random. Usually it happens when I'm listening to music on youtube (I'll also have another tab or two opened to read something...).
