I am not certain why Firefox kept crashing on me today. There was a file that was recovered called GeckoChildCrash. What is that?

I teach on Worth publisher Launchpad. FF is most compatible. FF crashed twice and a file was recovered called GeckoChildCrash(number) both times with different numbers. My computer froze and I could not open or close anything on Launchpad both times. I uninstalled FF on my Mac and reinstalled it and it continued to do it. I have been on the phone with worth and Apple. Neither have ever heard of the recovered file and both referred me to FF. I attached screen shots of messages. Can you help. I have a 2013 Mac Book Pro.
