color management on dual screen issue

Hi

I'm using a fully color managed dual-screen set-up. My main screen is wide gamut, my secondary screen is sRGB. Firefox color management is enabled (gfx.color_management.mode value =1). Firefox displays content mapped to the correct color-space on the main screen, but seems to use the main screen's wide-gamut profile when it's displayed on the secondary sRGB screen. The result is (of course) de-saturated (=washed out) rendering. In other words, Firefox doesn't seem to support dual screen set-ups and uses the main screen's color profile for both screens. This might go unnoticed if both screens have roughly the same gamut, but it's totally obvious in this particular situation. I did try to start FF on the secondary screen, (as opposed to moving an already opened instance from the main screen to the 2nd screen) but to no avail.

I presume there is no work-around at this time but I wanted to attract your attention to this fact. Many photographers and designers use mixed gamut dual screen set-ups, and often use the secondary screen for web browsing while working on the main screen with Photoshop, Lightroom or whatever, the main screen having often to high a resolution to be used confortably for browsing the web or doing stuff like office tasks. It would be nice if some time in the future this issue could be taken care of. Thanks many!

Dirk
