Problems sending gmail in FF for Mac OSX

I have set my Mail preferences on my Macbook Pro with OSX Yosemite so that Firefox is the priority mail client. When I right click on a file and then hit Email, it opens in Firefox. But then when I right click it in Firefox to send it through Gmail (which opens normally in FF), I get a message saying it can't do it because Parallels isn't installed on my MAc!

I had Parallels at one time in order to run a Windows program, but I have deleted it and all its associated files very thoroughly, then deleted FF and installed a new version, but it's still doing it. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Richard
