Firefox crashes
I have two problems: 1) Firefox crashes after I've been online awhile but I am able to send the report and refresh and get back to where I was online. 2) I get an Adobe plugin crash for all videos on FB. I can play videos on You Tube though. I believe this Adobe Plugin crash is something I can change in my settings but I don't remember how to do it. I tried changing the disable scripting settings but that didn't work. Reloading the page after sending the crash report with the ULR does not help. I have tried to refresh firefox settings and restate in safe mode to no avail. I recently updated to windows NT4 from windows 7 and I think that's when the plugin problems started and the maybe the crashing too. I may have deleted Quicktime plugin too. Using XP. I have plenty of memory though.
Here is the adobe plugin crash report: Crash ID: bp-7d662fa5-2a29-4a98-a7d9-636702160319
Here is another crash report: Crash ID: bp-d769e48b-b46f-4808-a514-75ad82160319

Your user agent shows that you run Firefox in compatibility mode for Windows 98 (NT 4.10).
- User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 4.10; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0
Check that you do not run Firefox in compatibility mode. You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
I think changing out of compatibility mode may have helped the total firefox crashes but not the Adobe Flash plugin crashes with viewing videos. Any ideas on how to fix that? Thank you
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and hardware acceleration in Firefox and try this:
- make sure you have the latest Flash version:
http://www.adobe.com/special/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html - check for updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration - disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Windows Vista and later)
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/adobe-flash-protected-mode-firefox - disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html - disable hardware acceleration in Firefox
