An adware addon (searchlock) Redirecting Program that hijacks webpages

An addon firefox offers "SearchLock" which I don't even have has started hijacking and redirecting certain webpages to syndication.exoclick.com in an attempt to sign up for this specific addon. I have Opera web browser as well where this specific hijacking does NOT take place. This is a malicious adware program. I want to know how to delete it and prevent this from future occurrences. If I have to exclusively use Opera I will, because I find this both very intrusive and annoying.
