browser.newtab url is ingored in version 41.0, what to do?
After update to 41.0 in linux mint "browser.newtab url" is ignored. It show me the default tab page, which I do not prefer. Pleace fix or provide a workaround. Thanks :-)

Hello, yes it is new in 41.0, the browser.newtab.url being removed due to abuse by malware.
If you want to use your home page on the new tab then try the next add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-homepage/
but If you want to set another page or a blank page on the new tab then try the next add-on.(you can also use this to set your home page, i have the same for my home page :-) https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/
