Which extension did you try? I have heard of at least two:
- FindBar Tweak: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/findbar-tweak/
- GlobalFindBar: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/globalfindbar/
Both tried. Neither works.
In what way do the extensions not work? What are you trying to do and what are you expecting?
The extensions should allow to have a findbar on all open tabs with the same search text in all of them.
