Firefox crashes
firefox keeps crashing including in safe mode after latest linux update of it.
error message as follows;

I am sorry however without the submitted crash report I am not sure how to further investigate. We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.
Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.
(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

My linux is ubuntu 12.04lite 32 bit.
I tried a reinstall but no joy.
I have uninstalled firefox 39 and reinstalled 38 which as before works with no problem.
Ok, first let's eliminate extensions and hardware acceleration. Start Firefox in Safe Mode or with a clean profile: Safe Mode and ProfileProfile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
still no joy, hardware acceleration i had unticked already and disabled extension. Tried again but still crashing.
When i reinstalled Firefox 38 i did so in a new place, that is updated to 39 and if i open that one it doesn't crash.
However, using terminal to get Firefox that one crashes when i open it.
