Firefox is great when it works. About 3 times per week it freezes, will not respond to any commands, can lock device requiring power cycle. I'm on Samsung G4 4.4.4 bit have also experienced the same behavior on G4, HTC One M8, Xperia z3. Sometimes script errors warning appears (15%), Force kill required (95%). Most recent pages do not appear in history. Is there a former release without this high severity bug?

Is it that the most recent history after the script error do not show up, or that recent history does not show up at all? Please also consider trying:

Thank you for your suggestion. Clearing history data is not possible during the freeze/crash, generally I have to force close Firefox. My first instinct was to clear history data, but doing that, in my experienced on Android, that had no noticeable effect: both when possible during the freeze, and after one, the frequency does not change having cleared that data. The freeze/crash happens frequently enough that I have changed to other browsers from necessity. The missing history after crash/freeze event is something I noticed only because after force close, I'm trying to find where I was; acording to history info provided, I wasn't. I included that observation without any idea of coorelation or cause, in fact, I've seen missing history on Firefox which I've never noticed on other browsers. The script errors notice are relatively frequent on Firefox for OSX, andI had noticed them much on Droid. Again, correlation isn't implied. I mention it because Firefox on OSX throws these regularly.

So, clearing histoy, no effect. The script errors may or may not be related, they seem less common on Droid than osX. The full app freeze of Firefox I see on osX seems similar to the freeze experience on Droid, but I have noticed the pop-up script error warning pop up very infrequently Droid, and I've noticed no frequency clustering. Not even knowing how to view script errors, nor what button choice is best whenosX

If it is the same website it is possible to extend the script run time by changing about:config entry dom.max_script_run_time.

I mentioned the scripting error hoping to help dx the much more serious issue of freezing and crashing on Android devices. I've drafted more complete response which probably wouldn't be productive here, but will forward it on directly in a few days. Thank You!
