Unable to reconnect to sync (Android)

Firefox for Android has stopped syncing (in the three-dot menu it says "Sign back in to synchronise: Synchronisation paused"). I tap that, tap "Reconnect to sync", enter … (daɗa karatu)

Firefox for Android has stopped syncing (in the three-dot menu it says "Sign back in to synchronise: Synchronisation paused"). I tap that, tap "Reconnect to sync", enter my username and password, click "Sign in" and.... nothing happens. The "Sign in" button is greyed in, and it seems I have signed in because I get the email alerts about the new sign in, but the page does not redirect/tell the browser that sign in was successful.

Please could this be fixed so I can sync my bookmarks & open tabs?
