Being a weird person, I always saved my sites on my firefox browser and for my own reasons, hadn't bookmarked them and always kept them open on tabs to pick up and read at a later date, and as a result, racked up a lot of different tabs that were all very dear to me. However due to a catastrophic hardware failure a few hours ago I lost everything on my local files, including my backups of all the firefox tabs. I was hoping that if there was a remote possiblility that if the sync was able to record tabs, that it would also save all tab information from previous browser sessions.

When I try to setup my home page to be something other than the Firefox default the page never loads. Also, if I try to go to the page without it being my home page, it never loads. I can open that website on other bowers, also other websites seem to load in Firefox, but slowly. The webpage I want to use is www.aldaily.com.

I have searched on-line and performed the actions that are suggested - i.e. clearing cache, cookies, restarting the computer, restarting my router. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox, nothing seems to work.

I would like to get some suggestions from you as to what I should try.

I have selected the 4 rows for shortcuts on my tab and have installed all but the last 3 spaces in the end of the 4th row. There's no option whatsoever to continue to add those remaining 3 spaces. Any suggestions?

How can I log in to my firefox account to sync on my new PC if I can't verify the email address associated with my account? I no longer have access to that email because my employer phased it out.

I cannot get the free VPN to turn on. It keeps looping me back to sign in and then tells me to turn it on and then it loops back to the sign in and continues to loop

Hello, a recurring problem that's been bothering me for several months is driving me crazy, causing me to use Firefox less and less.

I regularly get the dreaded message "Error: Platform version xxx is not compatible with xxxx," which seems to have been around for years and still hasn't been fixed. Rebooting, reinstalling, or repairing the installation with every automatic update isn't a solution; it's just a nuisance.

Hi, I use Firefox all of the time, and I noticed that the wallpapers were given an update of more choices for the user.

That's good and all, but I began thinking about the widgets that are optional when customizing your default Firefox home/new tab. Weather, shortcuts, and stories. All very simple, rudimentary uses, but nothing for fun, like, say, a little Firefox fox that can live at the bottom of your home browser!

Like something akin to a Pou or a Tamagotchi, With food and water on one side of the bottom of your home, bed in the middle, and a little hamster wheel for it to run on. You could click on it and it plays a little animation, or you can click and drag it to either activity previously mentioned and watch it interact.

I just think it'd be fun to have a more "silly" widget for customization on our home pages, while being entirely toggle-able like the other additions.

I have a document that allows me to extend the page for supporting information. However when I move the up/down bar the original document moves but there is no way to move up/down the supporting page.

hello i just opened my pc today and opened fire fox and i saw an update that makes the browser look better and suddnlly i lost all my passwords and i'm log out of my account

Is it possible to get rid of the sidebar section at the bottom part of the vertical tabs completely? If so how? Or is it simply not available to get rid of it completely?

I tried to turn off "Show sidebar" in settings, but then it defaults back to "Horizontal Tabs" instead of sticking with "Vertical Tabs", and switching back to "Vertical Tabs" will turn on "Show sidebar" again. And using the sidebar settings/"Customize Sidebar", there doesn't seem to be an option to get rid of it.

When I click the "story continues" button in a Yahoo news article in Firefox, nothing happens. In Chrome, it works fine. An example page with a button of this type is here .

Nothing jumps to mind about a setting that would be responsible for this, but I'll put it out there. Any thoughts? Or is this just a Firefox bug?
