Will the spyware that my wife intalled to see everything I look at be able to still see it?
My wife has installed some sort of spy type of security on our PC, and she is able to see everything that I have visited. Will using the private browsing keep her from being able to see what I have been doing?

It depends upon what was installed, some applications keep their own list of sites visited, that will include sites visited whilst in private browsing mode.
Private browsing mode just stops Firefox from recording details of sites visited.
