using the "history" sidebar

It seems that there are problems with the "history" sidebar (invoked by Ctrl-H).

I use the sidebar to manage the history. The default view is "By Date and Site", such that the sites appear as nodes. Usually I navigate up and down with the arrow keys, and delete entries (or consecutive entries selected by holding the shift key) by pressing the "Del" key. These functionalities were working well in Firefox 2.x, but not the current release.

  • Deleting "page" entries works as before.
  • After deleting a "site" node, the cursor always jump to the topmost ("Today") node, regardless what the container "date" node is.
  • In deleting consecutive "site" nodes, only the first one is deleted, and the cursor jumps to the list top afterwards.

I'd like to ask if it is possible to restore its original behaviour ?
