I´m a bit sad about the lack of shortcuts in the Firefox android app. Will they be added at some point?

Hi! I´m a big shortcut user and a year-long Firefox fan and user. Now it´s the first time I´m using an Android tablet (Boox Tab X C) and the typical shortcuts for new tab (Ctrl + T), close tab (Ctrl + W), etc. do not work. I researched this a little and it seems to be by design. Why do you forsake us, Firefox god??
