Firefox has suddenly stopped connecting to any wedsites

Firefox is not browsing on my laptop...to be fair neither is Microsoft edge so I'm not blaming Firefox but it's happened during the day totally out of the blue. I am linked to the internet but no pages will load. The firewall says Firefox is allowed through. I can't run troubleshooting because I can't link to the internet! Very annoying.
