Well I just used the menu to add an existing mail account and filled in my username (email address) and password. Thunderbird did the rest. But I do not have third party antivirus program to mess up email like most folk who appear in this forum. I use defender and tend not to have the normal antivirus related problems, and my computer runs about 20% faster.
So what do you need assistance with specifically.
