Nope, this happens with all sites . I have upgraded to Ubuntu 22.0 and firefox has this problem irrespective of sites.Not sure this happened earlier too Removing from snap and installing again from' firefox-100.0.2.tar.bz2' solved this problem

This would mean the site is protected from saving images. This is something sites are doing to protect their IP and site images from unauthorized image thefts for purpose not related to their uses or site policies.

Just my limited linux knowledge it sounds like snap was part of the cause or did snap remove something during the install of firefox in ubuntu. As you said just the install from firefox didn't have this issue.
Snaps are universal Linux packages. Sometimes the snap version of Firefox can have some minor issues the official Firefox tarbals does not have.
