store sync data
Hi i have a question about Firefox sync does it stores my profile somewhere online like Google chrome or no? cuz i know that previously it did store in some sync server and when my computer crashed i entered my details and sync key and i get all my profile details from Firefox server but with a new sync after my PC crashed i didn't get any info from server and that is really bad cuz i lost all my passwords, bookmarks etc. I have only one computer with Firefox sync enabled and i don't need to sync several computers and share my data between them my goal is to save all my profile details on Firefox server from a single PC and just in case so i can get everything that i lost from that server. Is it possible to do that now or no?

HI mangala, These are features that describe the old sync servers. Currently the old version of sync is being phased out and are being asked to migrate to the new servers, making the old data no longer accessible, I am sorry.
I did that all with new sync version, i just don't know if new version stores my sync data on server like old version or it just copies from my current pc and that's all?
Sync still stores the selected data types "online" on a Sync server - but its' purpose was and is to synchronize data between multiple devices, not for just one device.
and is there any way to store my devices data online like in old sync version so i wont loose my files after crash? maybe some add-on or similar?
or there is not?
