I would like to add a dictionary of dermatology and medical terms for my users. Is this possible to do? How would I create the dictionary? How would I add it to user's firefox?

Are you asking about a spell check dictionary for Firefox? https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Creating_a_spell_check_dictionary_add-on

If not that, please provide more information.

Basically, I have added a few hundred words to my user dictionary. I don't want to have to add these manually to the other 15 computers at work for the other users who have a different login. I'd like to be able give them all a dictionary. Seems that replacing the one in their profile might be the only way?

persdict.dat is the name of the personal dictionary file for words the user manually adds to the spell check feature in Firefox. It is located in the Profile folder.

Sorry, other than manually there is no way way to add words to the persdict.dat file that I have heard of. And I was adding the spell check feature to Firefox long before it was a feature in Firefox, using code copied over from the old Mozilla Suite - back in 2004 and 2005.

Creating a special dictionary is the alternative, but each user would have to switch to that dictionary to be able to use it - like when typing in a text area in a language other than the user-selected language.
