Search open tabs in Firefox

Firefox lets you find a specific tab when you have a lot of tabs open:

  1. Click the List all tabs button in the tab bar.

  2. Click Search Tabs in the menu that opens.

You can also find specific tabs using the address bar. Type a % before or after your search term to filter the results to only open tabs.

Examples:

Results when typing % before the search term:

search_tabs_in_address_bar

Results when typing % after the search term:

search_tabs_in_address_bar_in_query
