I already have "Automatically install updates" and "When Firefox is not running" enabled.

But after each Firefox update I still get the "Do you want to allow this app to make changes..." prompt and "Firefox is installing your updates and will start in a few moments" window. These are inconvenient as they require user input and take up time.

I don't get these on all other browsers I use (including Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi, Brave), which all update in the background seamlessly.

Is there a way to prevent these in Firefox and just have Firefox update seamlessly in the background like other browsers?

I have received the .xpi file from LabStats and verified that the Firefox ADMX Templates are on the DC. I'm having trouble getting this to work though. Can I have someone look over the settings in case I missed something obvious? The GPO is enabled and set to a test group of PCs. I have ran GPupdate /Force each time I make a change and then checked about:policies & about:addons and never see LabStats show up. Thanks,

This is annoying, and I suspect may be interfering with my sending of email from my Shaw.ca account (though not from Gmail). Can you please help? Thanks
