I have a macbook air laptop (late 2010) and have been using the latest version of Firefox browser for browsing. It's one of the few browsers still available. Google is popping up with the message that my browser is no longer supported. Do you have any suggestions about a browser that may work (other than a new computer please)? Will Firefox be coming up with a new extended version that will work? Thanks!

Hello,

for some reasons I need to downgrade a TB installation (Mac silicon 148.0.1) to the ESR channel, 140.8.1esr for Mac silicon.

I read articles in the KB where Mozilla discourages this, but I would avoid to move 15Gb circa of emails by hand copying and pasting them...

So is there anyone that has tried this before? Any suggestion how to do it without loosing e-mail in th process?

Thanks fr your support.

I was using Thunderbird this morning 08-02-2024 and for some reason a quick pop up window appeared. I now get an error messasge "cannot load xpcom" I uninstalled Thunderbird and tried to download/re-install but cannot get past the donation part which I have already donated. Does this mean each time I have to re-install I have to now make another donation? I noticed that I have a Firefox installer but no Thunderbird installer. Was it removed when I did a uninstall?

Hello!

I have an imac 21.5-inch (late 2009) on my table with OS X El Capitan running on it. It has the following specifications: 1. Processor - 3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 2. RAM - 8 Gb 3. Graphic card with 256 Mb

I have not been able to update the OS to run most recent Applications, and most of it, the web browsers are not updating as well.

What should I do to get through? Thank you.

Hello!

I started using Thunderbird quite recently. After an unsuccessful installation, Thunderbird deleted it, as well as deleted the profile folder. In order to perform a clean installation of the program.

But after installation, Thunderbird started, to my surprise, already with accounts, and even with add-ons installed. I have not found an answer to my question about the complete removal of the program on the Internet. The only article found from this resource turned out to be without text: just the title. Here is the link to it: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/uninstall-thunderbird.

As a result, I cleaned out the entire registry, as well as all the folders found by the search. And only after that it was possible to install Thunderbird cleanly. In my experience, such deep cleaning has a detrimental effect on the Operating System. And I want to avoid this in the future.

Can you tell me how to remove Thunderbird from your computer COMPLETELY? What exactly should be deleted?
