We tried installing Thunderbird on two PCs, both running Windows 11, but with unsatisfactory results. In July 2025, we bought a 15-inch HP PC running Windows 11. Thunderbird was installed, and the sending and receiving functions worked correctly with one domain name and three email addresses linked to that domain name. In January 2026, we bought a Lenovo T14 PC running Windows 11. We tried installing Thunderbird with the same domain name and three different email addresses linked to that domain name. Result: On the T14, it was impossible to install the third email address; only two addresses could receive and send messages correctly. Furthermore, the 15-inch HP PC now receives messages but can no longer send them; the connection is rejected by the server. Analysis: Apparently, there is an inability to coordinate the two PCs for Thunderbird. Question: Windows 11 had numerous updates between July 2025 and January 2026. Do both PCs need to have Thunderbird installed the same version of Windows 11 ?

Hello was told thunder bird is great to use. I need to know were to downlaod for I mac and if can be used Ipads thanks so much ? does it have block as well for spammers? and for I phones as well?

thunderbird Is working fine, but this message crops up every few minutes, and requires 4 - 8 Cancel clicks. I've tried "Open anyway", I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times, and tried the terminal command "xattr - cr" and dragging the app into the window. Is there a proper fix for this. V. grateful for any solution. TIA Brian

‘I've had Thunderbird before on my Mac Mini. I'm trying to reinstall it but keep getting an error message: Thunderbird 147.0.1 drr corrupt image. I ran disk utility but no help. any suggestions please?

what is the exact step-by-step process to download and install Mozilla Thunderbird on a Linux mint computer? I have the download from Thunderbird extracted to a directory one off the root? I am not good with Unix terminology. I do not know what file I have to execute or if at the command line, what code to install the program.

Every time I click download it takes me to a donation pop up. I donated, but nothing downloads. I've read all the suggestions already available on the forum, but no matter what I cannot get it to download.

Have deleted install pkg from W10 computer (PC). Figured if all was deleted new install would be easy. But, I keep getting message" Your Thunderbird Profile cannot be loaded. It may be\ missing or inaccessible"

If I have deleted all attempts at installing how can I need the profile? Wouldn't it be created in the new install. What specific files or folders should I be looking for? I have referred to "How do I find my Profile? and associated documents. and uninstalling the Firefox file from the MS apps list doesn't seem to clean this message trigger.

When I charge what is supposed to be Thunderbird 115.18 for mac os 15.10.7 on the site of all the versions, I only get Thunderbird 147 for mac and it doesn't work correctly as my messages desappear. Where can I really find the dmg I need that is to say: Thunderbird 115.18 for mac (and not the 147).

I have been trying to download Thunderbird from your website, but I keep getting the same warning message that "Thunderbird 147.0.dmg corrupt image" What is wrong?

I failed to install Thunderbird 147.0.dmg on my Mac operating under High Sierrra version 10.13.6. I am getting an error message that the file is damaged when I try to execute it.

I am interested to switch to Thunderbird as an alternative to Mail. Would anybody has a solution ? Which older version of Thunderbird would work with my OS ?
